Ladies Rock Camp is a mini version of summer camp, welcoming participants ages 18 and up and who identify as female. In just three days you will: take lessons on the instrument of your choice (either learning for the first time or brushing up on your skills), form a band, write a song and perform live at a local club. It’s a weekend of bonding, getting out of your comfort zone, expanding your horizons and HAVING A TON OF FUN in a safe and supportive environment. Our instructors are amazing people with a wealth of experience in performing, songwriting, recording, touring, and more. We can work with individuals at any level of musical experience, including total beginners.

Fees & Enrollment

Tuition is $450 per person. Enrollment is limited and is first-come, first-served until all spots are filled. Tuition is not considered a donation, but any amount above it is.

Once we receive your application and payment we will confirm your enrollment via e-mail, phone or mail.  Two weeks before camp you will receive detailed information about LRC, including the full schedule, social events, and the showcase location.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your Ladies Rock Camp enrollment before March 25, 2016, we offer a 50% refund of your payment. If you cancel on or after March 25, 2016, there is no refund.

Location & Transportation

LRC is held on the campus of Immaculate Conception School, an elementary school in downtown L.A. (830 Green Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90017). There is plenty of free parking in the school’s parking lot. We do not provide transportation. If you’re interested in carpooling, please indicate that in your application.

Instruments

You are given a choice of guitar, bass, drums, keyboard or vocals. We will try to give you your first choice but can’t guarantee you’ll get it because we have to be able to form bands, therefore need a balanced proportion of instrumentation. Instruments are provided. You can bring your own guitar or bass if you want to, just know that you are solely responsible for its safety.
